Jason McNaughton is the founder and director of Ascent Counseling and Consulting. He believes that our pain often illuminates our pathway to wholeness, and that it is a privilege to bear witness to another’s journey.

We believe approaching everyone with kindness and curiosity can be the first step towards safety and connection, inviting us to engage in the harder parts of our stories. Processing daily life with someone who can listen objectively and walk beside you as you encounter joy and sorrow, is encouraging and validating. At Ascent Counseling and Consulting, we strive to provide a safe environment to rise up, to be fully known, and to engage the heart, soul, and mind.
